Surewing

Surewing has always been a talented flier. The dragons around her joked that she must've gotten the Windsinger's blessing with how easily she took to the skies as a hatchling. Maybe it was her small size - a runt compared to the guardian hatchlings around her - or maybe she was just born for flight. After her talents were discovered by Spade, a former member of her clan returning for a visit, he convinced them to let him take Surewing back with him to cultivate her flying.

Since then, Surewing has been the clan's top flier despite still being fairly young, acting as everything from a messenger to a soldier to a performer, even training aspiring young hatchlings who admire her aerial skills. Zaelie herself often calls upon her to help transport delicate cargo, like fragile objects or even hatchlings.

Surewing is fierce, firey, and above all, deeply proud of what she does. She sees it as necessary, although occasionally difficult and terrifying work (mostly due to the potential of hostile clans from other flights or the wild unpredictable weather patterns of Sornieth). The skies are her home, and she wouldn't trade it for the world.
