Dreamsoul

Dreamsoul hums brightly. "There has been many an interesting encounter that we have experienced. Sera comes off as cold and rude, and the reactions she often gets are cold and rude in return. Agate, unfortunately, gets a lot of backlash from Plague dragons, so we don't really enter the Plague territory anymore for his safety." She gazes sadly at the Skydancer, who is showing off a variety of arctic plants to some of the Arcane dragons.

"I believe that is a story for Agate themself to tell," she chuckles. "As for myself, I'm received rather well in most places, and had great interactions with others."

"What about the exception?" Sera suddenly prompts in a low voice, slithering up beside Dreamsoul.

"Hold on, I'm getting to that," Dreamsoul replies, waving a paw at the Nocturne. She turns back to you as Sera turns bearing an unreadable expression. "Well, as you have heard, there is one exception."

"Ridgebacks tend to 'borrow' things from other dragons, no?" She asks. As you nod, she continues her story with a good-natured smile and a calm voice. "I had a run-in once with a Ridgeback from the Light flight. Now, his clan was very nice, and was willing to trade goods for our goods. This Ridgeback had other ideas. When we left the next morning, we didn't realize that the goods we traded for had disappeared until an hour down the trail to the Tangled Wood."

Dreamsoul shakes her head, amused. "I've never run so fast in my life. The only reason we figured out it was the Ridgeback's doing was because his clan ratted him out. Don't worry," she reassures as she watches your eyes widen, "we got our items back. And the next time we visited -"

"Against my suggestions," Sera hissed, shaking her head.

Dreamsoul glanced at her fondly before picking up where she was cut off. "The next time we visited, it seems the Ridgeback either truly felt sorry that he delayed our trip to Shadow's territory or got a heavy beration from the rest of his clan, because he offered us a gift in apologies."

"It was a Light egg," Sera finished. She shrugged. "He said his clan didn't have enough resources to take care of another dragon, so he passed us the egg and told us to take care of it. Not like we will." After a doubtful glance from Dreamsoul, Sera compromised, "Okay, maybe we might take care of it."

Dreamsoul turns back to you. "My apologies for Sera's intrusions." The Nocturne huffed a loud snort at this. "I hope that answers your question. If you would like to hear about Agate's experiences with the Plague flight, feel free to ask him. However, I will warn you that he may not react so... friendly about it, not like I do." Dreamsoul smiles in solemn understanding. "Being the only Nature dragon for miles and miles in a territory that's supposed to be the home of your mortal enemies is very difficult to cope with."
