The dragon gods had not intended for a newly appointed goddess to be struck down so easily by a mortal dragon, so they intervened on her behalf. Lightweaver traveled forth to the raging obelisk, and killed him. Satisfied with what they had done, they left his remains beside the Foxwood Bramble. The Plaguebringer found him a few hours later. Many dragons tend to assume that the Plaguebringer is a cruel deity, one who only seeks to destroy dragonkind, but that couldn't be further from the truth. When other flights would reject their ill, their dying, Plaguebringer welcomed them in with open arms. When she saw Solaris, she was able to notice the marks her sister deity had made, and decided to raise Solaris back to life and make him a smaller named deity. However, even though she'd brought him back to life, she failed in making him a deity, so she reached out to the Flamecaller, and requested one thing. That Solaris would provide a light to lead the weary home. The Flamecaller didn't agree on many things with the Plaguebringer, but obliged anyways. When Solaris woke up for the first time as a god, alone, he was furious for being gifted the gift of light, and spent many years seeking the deities out, before finally giving up and accepting his fate.
