Glyph

Glyph, whose mask is hanging around her neck as she enjoys her tequila, gives you a curious, if not playful, quirk of the eyebrow.

"They're for hunting Shade, actually!" she responds, setting her tequila down on the bar counter. She runs a finger around the rim, bits of salt rubbing off and falling on the counter. She doesn't break eye contact with you, though. "I have a special friend, Fina. She creates weapons that can pierce even the darkest of Shade. She's quite talented, so it makes it worthwhile to buy my stock from her, even if she's so inconveniently located in the Worldedge Wetlands."

She grabs the halbert from the weapon roll leaning against the counter (she had set it on the floor when she came in) and held it up so it gleamed in the light. "This is Herbert." She makes a weird show of kissing it, like you might kiss the head of your pet affectionately. "Smaller Shade instances have no chance against him. All you gotta do is pin them down like this, and raise the pointed tip like so, and then--"

As she gives you this mini-lesson in Shade hunting, the bartender gives you a disapproving scowl, clearly not impressed by this patron swinging her weapon around so casually. You get a side eye from the dragon sitting beside her as well, although her back is to both of them, so she doesn't notice.
