Biography

The ground shifts and parts, crumbles into itself. As the hole widens, you see a fiery eye peer back at you - a gaze filled with unsuppressed rage! As you run back from the edge of the chasm, you see a lithe figure twisting into knots as it darts back and forth, trying to find a way out from the prison at your feet. Finally, in a violent burst of dusty dirt, a Spiral dragon bursts forth and speeds to the sky. She stretches her wings and flips around several times before she settles down and glides back to the clearing where you stare, entranced by her glistening skin. When she hovers over you, you feel a shiver of fear race down your spine. A deep voice comes across the clearing and stills the Spiral before you as Hieronymus speaks calmly to her.

"Welcome home, demon," he purrs. "Your freedom is bought for a price."

The red female moves at blinding speed, disappears from before you to reappear eye-to-eye with the unruffled leader of the nameless clan's defenders. "What price?" she hisses in a threatening whisper.

Smiling, Hieronymus calmly tells her, "The price is safety for the clan. The price," he adds, "is not negotiable."

A sinister smile breaks across the Spiral's face as she nods, "Done. Bind me to the clan."
