Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this warrior wandered a little too far from his home lair (566133, CherryFanta), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!

Mayel has always wanted to be a perfect figure from his parent's eyes. He trains hard and has a dream of becoming a coliseum trainer. He left his clan to fulfill his dream.
He quickly found himself taken in by a clan in the Windswept Plateau, and was immediately sent to the coliseum for training alongside a group of other young dragons. All was looking well, he thought, until he was told that he was now expected to enter into service under the Windsinger. While the other dragons he had been training with were happy to go, Mayel insisted that this was not the future he wanted for himself, that he had a dream and a goal that he wanted to achieve.
Clan leadership conferred on this matter. Certainly we weren't going to send a dragon into service who does not want to go. In this clan, no dragon that shows reluctance will be sent into service of a deity, due to the irreversible nature of this decision. But with his training having gone as far along as it had, sending him to another clan would almost certainly result in him being immediately exalted into the service of that clan's deity instead. That would hardly be different than sending him ourselves, against his will.
After some deliberation, a decision was made. Mayel would stay with us, continue to train under Vulcan, and join our small but growing team of coliseum masters.
Mayel has since completed his training and became Vulcan's second student to fully master the coliseum. He has been designated as the clan's coliseum trainer for the Harpy's Roost venue, fulfilling his dream.
