The founder of a great Plague-based artisan movement.

Few can claim to be the onus behind a new cultural movement. Even fewer can say that they hail from the Scarred Wasteland, which is certainly not famed as a place where the arts flourish. Raw survival, one might assume, leaves very little time for creation. But Morgana's persistence and passion have been as wholly unique as their outcome: the "Mother's Cough" band of artisans, of whom she is a founding member. Arguably, in fact, she is the founding member, her intent to show the cultural value of Plagueings the founding seed of the organization. And while MC's member count remains rather small, it has already established itself among the arts community as a group to keep an eye on. Its talents both Plague-born and Plague-based, Morgana intends to show the wider Sornieth community the unique artistic talent her birthplace boasts: one talent at a time. Morgana's artistic endeavors in the performing arts were evident from childhood and happily nurtured by her parents, long-established stage actors and Plague denizens. While neither were born under the Plaguemother's magic, both took a hearty deal of pride in their Plague clan, the Crow Callers. Both their pride and work ethic rubbed off on their hatchlings, and Morgana quickly was taught the importance of chasing even the wildest of her dreams. True, her parents were quick to remind, life in the Scarred Wasteland breeds necessary survivalship: but what is the point of living without goals to make it worthwhile? Plague's constitution bred in Morgana a natural love of overachieving and artistic hardship, yet she was surprised to learn that neither of these traits was commonly associated with Plague's artisan culture - what little of it even existed in the first place. She learned through her many efforts to enter Sornieth's wider artisan communities that few saw the Scarred Wasteland's potential as a cultural hub, a persistent stereotype of the average Plague dragon as a hard-headed barbarian permeating her every attempt to challenge the status quo. Frustrated, she instead turned to finding fellow Plague artisans, alongside whom she founded an artisan's collective known as "Mother's Cough". As virile as the common cold, she sought to spread her organization's talents through Sornieth not by disguising their plague origins, but by embracing them. Every artist under the collective values their status as a Scarred Wasteland native, and incorporates their identity within their work. Morgana is no different. Aside from her status as an organization founder, Morgana also contributes her talents as a circus artisan. Acrobatic, balance, and contortion arts are her forte, though she has recently expanded into aerial arts. Her performances are as high energy as they are high danger, usually putting both performer and audience at risk - such as her tendency to juggle live flames several feet above the heads of her onlookers, or her willingness to douse the entire room in a trail of gasoline to create great flumes of smoke and flare against metal hoops. In fact, flames in general seem to be a great love of hers, making an appearance in practically every one of her performances.

When not singeing her audience, Morgana can be found handling the paperwork side of Mother's Cough, arranging venues for its current performers and putting out casting calls for new ones. While most would find this to be the more boring part of working as an artisan, she finds great enrichment in this work. Every agreement for some far-flung theater or troupe to accept one of her performers feels like a victory; another step in the journey of cultivating Plague's rightful place as an artistic force. She hopes one day to find a mate with whom to share this joy with, and to parent children to feel similarly.
