  • Pronounced LEEb-uh
  • Pronouns - she/her and xe/hir, no preference, likes to mix them up, even within the same sentence.
  • Lives on the outskirts of Brume Wharf, on the very edge of the coastline and as close to the Dulse side of Dulse-Aeol as xe can. Born and grew up in Dulse, moved to the surface when she realized terrestrial plants and fungi didn't grow well in the underwater air pockets. Still returns on a regular basis to visit hir daughter, Mina, and buy/sell both aquatic and terrestrial plants and fungi. Considered a citizen of Dulse.
  • Mina (she/her) - daughter, visits her parent regularly. Works as a fisher, and often brings back both fish and plants harvested from Libe's gardens (both underwater and surface). She calls Libe her parent, and addresses them as "Lib" (LEEb).
  • Herbalist. Fascinated by the medicinal properties of different plants and fungi. Has an underwater garden where she grows aquatic plants.
  • Cottage is at the edge of a cove, which has a rock pool, hir own garden, and an underwater cavern. Libe has created a maren-and-dragon-friendly home with three sleeping areas: one for her own use, when she misses living underwater; another close to hir own, for when Mina comes to stay; and a third, larger one, for any friends from Dulse-Aeol who decide to visit, large enough for an imperial. The cavern has a natural air pocket with access to the outside, so xe doesn't need to refresh it. The garden is just outside the cavern.
  • Has hir own market stalls in Dulse as well as Brume Wharf. Xe has learned how to enchant dried plants/fungi to last underwater.
  • Not an official member of the Brume Wharf council, but is considered the unofficial dragon ambassador to Dulse, and works closely with the official maren ambassador to make communication between the two towns easier without having to use Aeol's ambassador as a mediator.
  • Because Libe grew up underwater, xe still occasionally has trouble moving around on the surface, especially around the rocky, uneven and occasionally steep coast near hir home. She uses a large walking stick to help with balance and help prevent falls/injuries.
  • Hir favorite season is autumn, and xe has several dried flowers/leaves. Xe likes to use them for different creations, several of which xe sells in both markets. She also gives them out as gifts to friends in both Dulse-Aeol and Brume Wharf. Mina has a collection almost as large as her parent's.
