Sazed

Steel-hearted, moody young IceWing Sazed lives in a gorge of ice between two glaciers. The deathly silence is often broken by a loud boom of the ice moving- growing or shrinking, Sazed doesn’t care. She spends her time in the depression she carved in the ice, thinking, eating, clawing, battling the frigid water and snow around her with her inner fire, which burns dark and hot. She visits her neighbors that live on one of the two glaciers she is wedged every snowstorm, bringing with her a walrus carcass as a gift. Then, she leaves, disappearing immediately into the wall of snowflakes. It’s not clear who Sazed really is or where she came from.
