“Perhaps home is not a place but simply an irrevocable condition.”

One of the first eggs Elmissa and Rynal found, she was hatched days after their first clutch. Growing alongside Vaun, Isaura, and Nadir, the four become quite close. Despite being the youngest she has taken the role of protector among them since Vaun's absence.

While her cyan eyes reflect her true origin, she considers the Icefields her true home. Within the clan she is a respected elder for her quick wit and ability to create machines and inventions for their home.

Currently without a mate she is happiest when she is with the new hatchlings, showing them the wonders of her machines. She will frequently look for trinkets of her own instead of allowing Rynal to do all the work.

Her closest friend is Silvia, a water dragon who was sold to them from another clan. The two are often seen with Trent and Kenton, discussing plans to expand the clan's lair.

During an excavation both she and Silvia became trapped in a cave. The engineers of the clan forbid the others from removing the rocks lest they ruin the stability of the cavern and crush them. Having no other option Almeria and the other casters rushed to find scrolls in order to change their breed and allow them to escape the cave-in through a small tunnel carved out by Trent and Kenton.

After the transformation was complete, the two managed to squeeze through the shaft. Safe at last, the two were given the option to change back. Unlike Silvia, Yorsa missed her Guardian form terribly. She was used to her stature and her wide wings. As a Pearlcatcher, she felt vulnerable bearing her soul to others.

Before she could tell Almeria of her decision, both Agapito and Ilario spoke to her. Having been the first of the clan to change their breed, they knew much of the shock that came with it. They spoke of poor Tadeo whose transformation left him haunted, of Armel who had to relearn his entire body alone, and of their own change which was only made bearable by having a friend.

Knowing she couldn't leave Silvia alone in this she chose to keep her new body. She often dreams of her grand wings.
