Vivian

Vivian took strongly after her parents. Truly, a child of the darkness. Dark magic courses through her veins, and she wields it quite well, even without much in way of formal training. She is quiet, and confident, despite what other dragons may say. She doesn't need them. She doesn't need to care what they think. She doesn't need them getting in her way. And words, frankly, are relatively useless outside of necessary communication. Instead of talking, she sits and watches, contemplating those around her. It makes her far more dangerous than her unassuming presence would lead one to believe. She has little care for dragons she's unfamiliar with, and thus, won't hesitate to kill those who act against her. It's disgusting, but it does get them out of her way.
But one day she meets a dragon with darkness that matches her own, perhaps stronger than hers. And yet he doesn't give into it, or pull back from others. He takes every tentative, shaking step towards the light he can, even when his curse drags him back. Why? Why does he fight it? Vivian watches him from the shadows, trying to understand why he isn't like her, when he has every reason to be. Why does he try so hard?
