Kanithar grew up isolated, alone in an old, forgotten forest. He learned the ways of the wilds until they became as natural as breathing, and he learned not to trust random travelers who would pass through. He practiced the art of the hunt, and the art of combat, and came to love and respect the brutality of the wildnerness.

He spent many moons gathering pieces of armor and weapons left behind by passersby, until he was able to fully protect himself. He spoke to no one, never daring to leave his home in the forest. He found a raised a young Runescar Lynx kitten, whom he lovingly dubbed "Rua" and is more than happy to dote on her.
He eventually came across a wandering dragon called Mystiq, who told him tales of a wondrous Arcane clan led by a fearless and kind Tundra. Captivated by Mystiq's tales, Kanithar reluctantly decided to accompany the older dragon to these strange lands.

And so he left the safety of the only home he had ever known, and stepped into a new home. One full of kind and welcoming faces, welcoming him into an environment of safety and happiness.
