Nessa has the difficult job of caring for the overly energetic youngsters. Thanks to her patient approach she has a calming influence over them, making them more attentive in their lessons with their mentors. She is fiercely protective and not afraid of shedding blood to defend those in her care. She is the polar opposite of her former mate, Elias, and bought out a kindness in him that nobody else could. Now separated he is better because of her influence and they still remain friends. Deep down she is still attached to him but represses those feelings because she craves some independence and found her relationship with him was too stifling. She had offspring with Kynaston as the two found common ground in the fact that they both love what they cannot have, albeit for different reasons. The pair have since stopped communication altogether, and Nessa regrets the whole situation.
