Hatched out of a light aligned egg that was brought to the Spiral Keep, Animus always felt like he belonged in water. He often finds himself looking in a mirror and being surprised that his eyes were yellow, not blue. Most newcomers to Aquloch are skeptical when they hear the best - and one of the only - seers in the town was born of light, but they quickly find out that Animus acts and talks just like one would expect from a powerful seer; Vague, quiet and riddled with riddles. Animus is pretty young for being such a great seer. Before the Tidelord vanished, he spent his time obsessively obtaining as much knowledge as he can about the future. He often volunteers to scry the future of random strangers, both as an act of kindness and also to feed his mountain of notebooks. In the pursuit of knowledge, he is more like a child of the Lightweaver. He has relied on scrying the future so much that the disappearance of the water deity has made him excessively paranoid, to the point of being scared to leave his home. Irrational fears, like 'what if the ceiling of the town hall collapses tomorrow?' plagues him wherever he goes. His few friends, especially Silence, have to visit him frequently to check if he has been eating and sleeping enough. He hates having to rely on other, very busy dragons to live healthily but he just can't seem to escape the millions of worries he has about everything. |
