Note to self: scrap the old lore idea and use this concept instead:
Alyssia is a mage with power beyond the knowledge of any dragon in the clan. She is secretive with her craft, and is rarely observed using her powers. The only basis that the dragons of the clan have that she is in fact a powerful mage is a mere rumor spreading like wildfire. She doesn't even try to hide the fact that she brushes off any questions about herself, and very few dragons in the clan even know where she came from.
But something more. Alyssia is one of three hatchlings who weren't meant to be. Part of a deep-rooted prophecy few dragons have heard of, cast into the darkness and left in the shadows for far, far too long...
The firstborn, a skydancer. Born with a cursed connection to the sea, offending his lighting origins and natural-born element. His story shall be long-untold, though one day, perhaps, he shall rise to power. His abilities will, for a long time, remain a mystery, and his intentions are held close to his chest. He shall represent Silence.
The second, another skydancer - this one a girl. She shall be scorned and cast aside for years, all virtuosity of the clan who took her in thrown aside. The years of being ignored and unappreciated will one day catch up to her... and the clan she is taken into will regret their ignorance. She shall represent Revenge.
The third, a spiral, shall be regarded highly in the clan she will find herself in. She shall feel happy and loved... until her first and only nest of eggs will undergo a tragic loss. Only one shall survive, though this child will turn away from her and leave to pursue meaningless endeavors. She shall represent Grief.
Three dragons set to their own paths, but ultimately having their lives decided by the cosmos. Their magical abilities shall be strong, their emotions high, and their minds sharp.

- Thunder: (she/it) Persecutor. Self-destructive tendencies. Believes in the prophecy, and hates self (including all alters and the body) for her role in it.
- Leo: (he/they) Child-like "safety" alter. Doesn't know of the prophecy. Created early in Alyssia's life to protect their youth. Safeguarded by all other alters except for Thunder.
- Fissure: (they/them) Trauma holder. Believes in the prophecy. Very jumpy; has PTSD. Terrified of lightning (due to its role in their upbringing & many trauma sources). Extremely agoraphobic.
