Watcher

This dragon…is not much of a dragon as much as he is like a statue above a crypt covered in moss, it’s rusted over door protecting jewelry a millennia or more old from days that should have been forgotten. Watcher lived his life for only a short while now, experiencing things a sculpture could never dream of. Could sculptures even think, he wonders? He cant quite remember. The only thing that’s important to him now is this clan of friends he’s never had before, staying by the side of the most beautiful fae he’s ever seen. He mainly watches the lives of others, forgetting he has his own now. He still guards that crypt of jewels, but allows each member of his beloved clan to take a piece or two to gain the magic he never knew he had. Protective magic. Though, the act of blessing his family has made him..rather tired. And so instead he takes naps under the cool, shady trees and wakes up when he’s needed, which isn’t often. Though sometimes, he’s awake anyways, if only to enjoy the company of the dragon he loves most. She really is beautiful, isn’t she? (He/It)
