Flurry had been meandering into town, glancing at the different shops. "Belegur will have my fins if I'm not careful to reach the right place in time..." he muttered under his breath, a tinge of urgency in his tone.
The village hatchlings were being rambunctious as ever, yelling and laughing whilst weaving amongst the crowds. The village square was bustling with various merchants and barters of the day, a snowball had found its way to impact Flurry's face.
The hatchlings ran up to him and giggled, that mischievous look on all of their faces that Flurry knew all too well at this point. "Not today, children. I have to get to Madame Mist's shop today if I want to-"
"FLURRY, FLURRY, IN A HURRY! IF WE SING TOO LONG, HIS TEMPER GROWS STRONG, AND THEN WE ALL MUST SCURRY!"
The children sang their off-key chant as they always did, much to the chagrin of their target. This caused Flurry to grow agitated, blowing a fine spritz of ice mist at the children, thus causing them to laugh and run away.
Little did they know, Flurry had cracked a smile of his own as he turned to continue with his daily duties.
