 He is silent, despite the jewels and armor he wears. His Empress does not like when Their Shadows make even the softest whisper of sound… And because of this necessity, Sadeas muted his voice too. There is no need for speech if his charge needn't it in the first place--They already understood him even without word for communication. So the Shadow lay content with such a reality, and grew to prefer it too.

He turns to observe the sleeping Empress, if only for a moment, if only to see if They were undisturbed, before turning way to keep watch of Their silent quarters. What a lonely room. That is what he always thought whenever he stepped in here. Although beautiful and fine in decor, lovely in the way that it was built... it was bare of anything warm. Homely. Loving. Dare there be anything from or resembling family... He would be lying if he said his heart did not ache for Them then.
