Khaaji does not speak; in fact, she refuses to show anyone what is under the hood and skull. This is likely due to her body being pestilent and disfigured from her own plague magic. She is quite a reclusive dragoness and somehow avoids almost everyone's eyes. That is until someone needs healing. She arrived at the clan when she was a hatchling who had been abandoned outside the Hellwell Undercroft. She considers Pestilence to be her father since he is the one who found her, brought her to the clan is raised her as if she were his own. They both have similar ailments, which is why Pestilence is the only dragon Khaaji has trusted with witnessing her insecurities.

This pearlcatcher found her place in the clan as another healer. Though Emeraldia isn't a fan of her intense plague magic because her medicinal herbs begin to wilt in Khaaji's presence. So instead of working with herbs, she works with fungi and venoms for medicinal purposes. She is in charge of creating anti-venoms, healing potions, and harvesting fungi for certain ailments. Some would say she is more of a "witch doctor", but she takes the title in stride.

Khaaji does not have a mate, nor does she exactly want one. She has thought about it from time to time but finds that she lacks the confidence to trust someone in that way. However, she's content with having Pestilence as a father figure and a close friend, as well as Rotwood and Necrosis.
