- Ever wonder why there's never any animals inside the Cathedral? Probably not, since it IS full of dangerous spirits and that would probably be upsetting for small critters. However, that's not the actual reason they're never around. Aventurine, or Ava as they're more commonly known, goes out of their way to befriend any animals that wander into the cave and is always followed by an entourage of reptiles, amphibians, and rodents.
- A being made of living crystal. They're obviously not a dragon, but the spirits in the Cathedral claim that they aren't a spirit either. Tamlin theorizes that the magic saturating this ground may have starting clinging to a particular patch of crystal in the cave and over time gave it a life of its own.
