Willow

Many dragons think Willow is strange due to her being mute, but she is actually kindhearted and hardworking. She works alongside Ashfall and Steelwing to make effective weapons for combat. Willow is actually Plague rather than fire, the preffered blackmith element, but she couldent care less about it. She has practically mastered handling fire and lava without needing to directly touch it.

The trio has been given the name "The Flameforgers", not to be confused with the festival. Ashfall melts the metal and turns it into the desired shape, Willow works with the metal untill it is smooth and lets it cool, and finally Steelwing tests the weapons effectivness.

Willow accidentally made her familiar when she was working on a side project, a Flamecaller statue. As she was working with the porphyry, Ashfall helped her put small bits of magma in the top of the statue to act as the Flamecaller's fire mane. Before their eyes, the lava suddenly blazed with actuall fire, and the body began to glow with red light. Then, the body began to move. It took a look at Ashfall, then focused on Willow. Since then, Willow has kept the statue, which she named Flame. No one is sure how this happened, but the small statue appears to be harmless other than its mane of fire. The statue appears to be also mute, so they get along very well.

"Can.. Can she talk?" Gargoyle asked, staring at Willow's crimson red mask as they worked on a sword.
"Unfortunately, she cant." Ashfall explained. "When we took her in, her jaw was badly injured. While she can drink and eat without much issue, the injury has left her unable to talk, and has to communicate with us in other ways."
"Oh.." Gargoyle muttered under her breath. Willow was by far one of the best blacksmits she had ever seen, well, the only one actually. It was just a shame she couldent talk to them.
"Dont feel bad for her, she is happy here!" Ashfall said. "Besides, its quite difficult to even try to attempt vocal communication. While im trying to not sound offensive, its... Unsettling, to say the least."

Due to her jaw injury, eating hard foods is a challenge, so she prefers softer foods. Some of her favourites to snack on are red and yellow soylents. Azul is unsure if her injury will ever be able to heal, and belives it could be permanent.

Willow sometimes gets burned when working with metal, and has been needed to be healed up multiple times. She has even started to gain somewhat of a immunity to fire. Its nothing like Ashfall, but she can now work on her swords and axes without needing to occasionally run to the water station becuase of an incident.
