An ancient guardian curls around a carved stone as they close their eyes for the last time. A mirror pup strays too far from the nest and falls into the wyrmwound. He meets them on the other side. To guide. To protect.

Trevalyon is ancient. He existed before the Eleven, and he will exist after them. So long as Sornieth exists, he and Ithra will be there. She - to give life. He - to take life.

Not all deaths require his attention. Trevalyon goes to those who do not understand what it means to die or those who fear death. He waits patiently until they are ready to continue on to the Other Side. Time, for the dead, is infinite. Eventually, all will go on.

Sometimes, souls do escape his grasp. Some walk the border of life and death and are fortunate that life pulls them back. Others are too corrupted to continue, giving rise to emperors, ghosts, and malevolent spirits. He leaves those to the living to handle. Spirit seers have a mix of life and death magic that allows them to purify the corrupt. 		plague.png
