True beauty is found on the inside.

Ceelie made her way out from her lair in the shadow of the Pillar of the World during the Rockbreaker Ceremony. Her mate, and the mother of her children, had last been seen near the Shrieking Wilds, and she hoped to reunify her family. However, she soon discovered that her family was scattered, with many of the children moving on to serve the Gladekeeper or to live in other realms. Disappointed, she knew they would never be together again, and she turned back.

As she thought about the crumbling Pillar near her home, she reflected on the legend that all clans and deities had once been united in one world, and she wished she could find a way to pursue that goal herself. As she made her way through the Viridian Labyrinth, she discovered a Skydancer named Crystemerald on patrol; she hesitantly introduced herself and her mission, and Crystemerald immediately felt a kinship with this fae; their experience in having a full nest scatter to the realms and deities was similar, though Crystemerald hadn't experienced the loss through distance as Ceelie had. Crystemerald introduced her to her lair, and Ceelie's heart surged on seeing the dragons from such diverse background all living in harmony. Herma offered her the chance to stay in their lair, and Ceelie gladly accepted. She offered to become the lair's representative to the Dragonhome, and to pursue her interest in uniting the dragons of the world, which delighted Herma.

Crystemerald and Ceelie felt a strong kinship from the time they met, and the two of them decided to try again for the family they were both seeking.

Ceelie's previous mate left her with seven children, but she remained unnamed and outside her world.
