Biography
Amidst frigid peaks bordering the Lightning territory, far away from the desert landscape that composed most of it, a lone egg fought to survive, cradled by wind battered rocks and lightning-kissed ice. It was a dark egg, blending into the backdrop of a tumultuous, storming sky; the snow that fell soon turned into hail, and the clouds that gathered threatened to discharge bolts of lightning at any second.
The egg shivered, lightning beginning to rain from above as thunder shook the stones that held the egg in place; hail battered the hardened shell, threatening to crack it. But, no matter how much hail fell, no matter how many times the egg got struck by lightning, and no matter how much that wind blew, the egg remained stubbornly in it's "nest", clinging to survival with admirable resolve.
It was during one of these incessant storms during which the egg hatched, a dark blue Skydancer rippling with the very stars which he could not see past the raging clouds. He hid underneath his broken shell, trying to stave off the shards of ice hitting his hide, but it gave him little sanctuary; soon enough the baby was covered in gashes spanning his entire body, dark flesh visible past his glimmering fur. And if that wasn't enough? He was like a miniature lightning rod, just like his egg had been- and he got struck more than once.
The strikes left zigzagging patterns across his body alongside the pelting hail wounds, and after the third strike (which, surprisingly, caused him little physical harm) the baby decided that he HAD to leave this cursed, storming mountain peak.
It took him the better part of three days to reach the ground, but once he was safely away from the storm, the hatchling decided that he'd come back some day to train his body against the elements, and strengthen himself. But, until then, he steeled himself in resolve to grow stronger. And, well, he wanted to recover from the fresh beating he just received, a mere few minutes into being properly alive...
