The day winds down, the sun begins to descend, and out come the vessels. They can be anything from elegant glasses to - after a certain point in the celebration - someone's shoe... but they're always filled with something intoxicating enough to wash away the strains of the day.

Dionysia is right there with all her celebrants in spirit, if not right in the middle of the moment. Whether the drink is for fun or for relaxing, it brings with it good feelings and a sense of peace in a world full of chaos.

No one has to drink her wine. Dionysia knows that sometimes the fruits of her vines can lead to heartache and disaster, and she does her best to temper those who get to that point. For those prone to problems like that, the fae will find other distractions and delights... for her goal is not to let her celebrants drown. The goal is to lift up the hearts and souls that are trodden upon by a harsh world.

So when a small dragon draped in vines hands you a cup, let yourself go along for the ride. Dionysia can't fix everything, but she can provide havens in time and sensation that help you deal with everything else in life. And if you do want to learn more about the wines that are her calling, her acolyte Ebolan will be happy to teach you how to make your own form of joy.
