"Wine is wonderful stuff. But so many people are put off by the snobbery of it."

Ebolan knows that some people view his favorite obsession with scathing dislike. Others see it as a sign that he thinks he is better in some way than most... and still others cannot understand it at all. Wine, while one of the simpler things in life, can mean many things to many different people.

To Ebolan, wine is an art. The differences in flavors and textures, the beauty of the various types in a clear glass, the myriad aftertastes that linger on the tongue - each wine has something of its own to be appreciated. Unfortunately, too many these days see it as something to be snobby about; instead of the drink being something to add to an occasion, it is now a status symbol.

This, to the friendly fae, is an abomination. Wine came about because the gods wanted dragons to be happy - this is Ebolan's view of it. Something that can bring such pleasure and relaxation shouldn't be used as a way to make others feel inadequate.

To try to build a bridge between the vastly different views of his favorite beverage, Ebolan shares his wines with everyone. He takes the time to find what others may like, and he gives his wares for free. From the grapevine to the table, he knows all there is to know about his vintages and loves to share his information and his company. He and Dionysia both share this calling in life, and are often seen together around the lair.

Perhaps someday there will be less strife; Ebolan is going to do his very best to spread the gospel of the grape to everyone until the world can be mellow together once more.
