"hello?" you call, using as much force you can must to be heard over the wall. There's utter silence, a disappointing sound. were you not loud enough?

There's a loud flap of wings, they come close to the wall; hurrying by the sound of thunderous claws. A large Banescale looms over, demanding in a booming voice. "who are you!? what do you come for!?" The words follow by an hissing-snarl. one uncontrolled.
"i'm a friend!" you promise. "i come with no ill-will! i sneak a lonesome place to rest!"
"Drop your weapons!" the Banescale hisses. The Banescale cranes her head; straining her sharp eyes to inspect you. You raise you're hands, slowly twirl around revealing your attire for any access weapons.
You nod your head, the excitement for what's behind the large gates grows more. "i do." you swear.

The bane scale disappears from sight, a few quiet moments, you pick up your weapons; wishing not they become damaged by the elements. the doors creak open. The bane scale from before looked down on you, a fur bundle in maw. She drops the bundle at your feet. twine around it. She spoke, now not as bold. "Bind your weapons and leave them by the door."
As the Banescale instructed; you do so immediately. mildly fearful to have a smart mouth to her.

The Banescale gives another inspection, a fall walk around you. stopping at your right.
