He was born cursed, his grandfathers continued influence on his line flowing strong. His mother was entierly innatentive, busy draping herself in thick fabrics that do nothing to help. So, when the slavers came to scavenge, she hardly noticed. Luckily for little Ichor, the slavers were being hunted too.

It was Weythran who found him, and brought him to their mentor, Ajax. They had felt the infection in the hatchling, both familiar and foreign, and wished to help the child. Ajax agreed, on the stipulation that Weythran would be the little ones caretaker, keeping him calm during the purging of the infection, as well as keeping the child safe during their travels. Weythran agreed to this, and that evening the two sat by their fire and evetually got the child to tell them its name.

Ichor struggled a lot when the curse still ravaged him, and still carries many scars from failed attempts at curing him. Though the physical aspect was almost irrelevant when compared to the mental strain, and Ichor still struggles with the phantom weight of the curse. He considers Weythran his older brother.
