Maahes is one of the older dragons in the clan, and excels in fishing, despite his appearance. He doesn't do it himself, hiring out work to other dragons or beastclan. So maybe fisher is a misnomer. He knows the best times to set out which nets, where, and with which bait. Without fail, his employees haul in net after net bursting at the seams with fat, healthy fish. It's almost uncanny, really.
He's in a relationship with Aphelion; both middle aged dragons have been in a relationship for quite a long time. Maahes is more withdrawn than Aphelion, though he cares strongly for his employees and pays them handsomely, even when harvests wane.
