 Dante is the current sole member of the Nightwatch. The Nightwatch's mission is to make sure that all outsiders are kept outside and/or taken to see Gilgamesh at morning for their punishment or acceptance to the clan. They also need to keep track of the nocturnal, dangerous beasts' movements and are the first to know when the Night of Nocturne has begun and if the clan needs to defend themselves against nocturne dragons. Dante has a tendency to deal stuff at the clan's borders or with the clan's head cheff Marcin and his grandson Valentino during the pitch black nights of Dragonhome. So if one wants to get in contact with Dante for some non-legal businesses (or just to banish a nocturnal beast or two), he can be found in the Neon Mirror -club of Catacomb City when not on-duty. During Gilgamesh's rule, on first dimension, Dante's duty was to transport all the perished dragons to III Delta Kaising and to Earthshaker so he could exalt them. Now, as Earthshaker has returned to his original Dragonhome, Dante doesn't need to do this anymore. After the new C.B.F.'s leader Capitano has been appointed to his duties, Dante has been ordered to report to him, in stead of directly to the Scorpion King. Sometimes Capitano joins Dante in his nightly patrols around Chernogorsk. Deeming Capitano a bit too strict, not unlike his mate Vergil, Dante continues to refrain from informing him of his off-duty shenanigans he has continued to do since he reported his branch's doings to Gilgamesh. |
