Zara

Role
Zara is the first face anyone entering Tribe Ignoria will see. Dressed in the finest silks and jewelry that the clan has, her goal is to put up a front of wealth and welcome anyone with open arms. There are limits to where any newcomer can go in the Tribe. Anyone found venturing past the large spruce wood door that guards the inner sanctum will not have a pleasant time. As long as the newcomers stay within their boundaries, Zara is happy to guide them around. For whatever anyone seeks - whether it be a place of rest on a long journey or training on their way to serve the Icewarden - while they are in Tribe Ignoria, Zara is here to help them along.

Personality
Zara is a happy dragon, overly so at times. Her disposition was immediately noticed by Zayah when she joined the clan earning Zara her current job. Always smiling, Zara is the first to attempt to cheer someone up and make them feel better. She likes working with Zella whenever some of the Tribe's visitors are injured to help them through whatever their healing process is. However, images of her early life still haunt her. She has a great fear of Harpies, and she makes sure to stay as far away as possible from any harpies that have become companions to her fellow clan mates. Sometimes, when it's almost too dark to see, you might catch her staring longingly towards the north - her usual smile gone - dreaming of the life that she could have had.

Backstory
Born to a small clan in the Emberglow Hearth of the Ashfall Waste, Zara spent the first of her days in a climate much different from the one she lives in now with even a different name, Selena. However, before she was even a month old, her birth clan was attacked by a band of Harpies. The Harpies destroyed the clan and her family. She managed to escape using her natural colors to conceal herself. Left alone, she wandered for many months drifting from clan to clan, anywhere that would offer her refuge. She found herself in the cold and dark. Not used to the temperatures, she ran for the nearest cave she could find. In that cave, she found a green colored Pearlcatcher also taking refuge from the drastic nighttime temperatures found at the base of the mountain which Zara could not name. In the morning, the two were found by a patrolling party of a nearby clan. Zara and the Pearlcatcher (who Zara had learned was named Dracanae) were taken by the party as trespassers and held prisoner. There, they were investigated by one of the Skydancers residing in the clan. He deemed them true in their statements of not meaning harm, and they were allowed to stay for however long the liked. After about a week, the two had grown much closer and decided that they would like to join this small clan. They entered the month long trial period. Afterwards, they were both deemed worthy and given their new names, two of the few who stayed and found an end to their long journeys.
