Redscale stalker
Fiercely territorial, these night-stalking hunters are solitary, except for bonded mates. They haunt lightless wastelands and deep volcanic caverns, slipping through the darkness as silently as blood escaping a vein. If you haven't seen them by now, it's probably too late to run.



__A quiet, sulky loner, Zahreh prefers her own company, and is more like a neighbor to the pack than a true member- she keeps pace at the outskirts of the pack's travels, scouting and hunting for herself, and only occasionally meets up with the pack proper- generally to mention a find that may interest Iria, or to have Venesi patch up a wound she can't just walk off.

__In the pale grey of the shifting expanse, lit by incessant arc flashes even in the dead of night, the deep red hue that serves her kin so well hiding in their native haunts is more of a glaring beacon announcing danger.   Most of the pack are more or less used to the occasional distant glimpse of blood red skulking through the shadows at the bases of mesas and power poles- the fact that she has no camouflage to speak of makes it much more startling when she still occasionally manages to appear seemingly out of nowhere.   (She'd never show it, lest anyone start thinking she enjoys social interaction, but she's secretly entertained every time she scares the lights out of someone.)
