• Always looking over his shoulder, and when dragons are thanking the Storm Strikers, he tends to stay out of the spotlight. He’s as tough as they come, which makes the other Storm Strikers wonder: if he’s this powerful and seemingly fearless, what exactly is he running from?
• The answer? Barak is fleeing the Stormcatcher himself. He was sent to serve the deity, but deserted the army and fled the Shifting Expanse. He doesn’t know whether the Stormcatcher is chasing him, but lives in constant fear of the day he finds him
