Personality Egregore, for the most part, is incapable of speech. The only sounds able to leave his maw are haunting moans as soft as the wind. No dragon has ever managed to spot Egregore on accident; if he wants you to see him, you will. Even amongst his brothers and sisters of the Guild, the dragon remains hidden, only to be brought out of the shadows by whispering his name into the wind. He stands ridged and unwavering; statuesque against the haunting movements of the branches and brambles behind him. Egregore feeds off fear, the more rumors spread from his terror directly corresponds to how powerful he is. Born out of fear from long lost parents, his egg fell into deep, dark murk. Egregore was imbued with fear and darkness from the moment he burst from his shell. Biography The branches in the trees stir and twigs snap from the surrounded brambles. A gust of wind whips fallen leaves into the air, and you swear, for just a moment, you think you see glowing eyes off in the distance. But that can't be right, can it? Only hatchlings fall for fables like this, ha ha! There's not any monsters this far out from the clan, right? There's no monster following you, absolutely no monster with razor sharp claws, gnarled teeth, dripping pools of inky black. There's no hot breath scorching your neck or the smell of blood in the air. There's nothing reaching out for you from behind, nothing to take you away from everyone and everything you love. Nothing to rip your flesh from your bones inch by inch, nothing to fill what's left of your body with that horrid sludge. Right? That's only hatchling stuff.
