Biography
A creature made for work for stormcatcher, crafted from silver and dark magic. It has no need for sleep nor food. When it was presented to stormcatcher as a child he snarled tossing the clan from the spire and cursing them for giving it but a hatchling for labor as he was no eggsitter. The god looked down at the child allowing it to follow him around. It gained a bit of a reputation as time passed as a ruthless floor manager the mechanical ticks of its cogs a warning to any dragon who fell out of line. As the eons passed stormcatcher brought it aside giving it detailed instructions to go and watch over a clan on the foothills of it’s biome and not return till the clan was truly lost to the sands of time.
Additional info
Irumion was a construct made specifically to assist Stormcatcher. It is a being made of metal and bound together with hexes. They were made specifically so that the stormcatcher would give the clan better luck. However he thought it was a stupid idea to give him a child. (Irumion grows just like a regular banescale they just can’t die). So there’s this little banescale who followed him around for years doing anything it could to help him. Early on the storm catcher tried to throw it from the spire just like he did for the idiotic clan who gave Irumion to him. Oddly enough this was how Irumion learned to fly, getting tossed from the temptest spire when it annoyed the boss. However since it came back every time, he just started giving it meaningless jobs to keep it away. When those hobs were completed to perfection the boss gave it more difficult work eventually letting it become the foreman for his employees. Although Irumion can’t feel emotion quite like the others could they were still good company.
The clan itself has long been forgotten, but they rested in the carrion canyon, one of the worst places to be in the shifting sands. They hoped building many of these creations for the stormcatcher would bring them more luck and money so they wouldn’t have to exalt their hatchlings. When they presented the creation to him they were immediately thrown from the spire and forced out of the shifting sands forever. It’s said that thier descendants now live in the arcane.
