Affectionally nicknamed "Ma", but more often than not spelled as "Maw".

Rachai is the hand of Daucus and when she's not nesting she's in the greenhouse, tending to plants and nests of busy parents.

Being an ice dragon, she has her connections to the Shatterwing Order. But she's not the stereotypical jail keeper from the cold fortress. Rachai is a warm, caring softie far estranged from her magic, as much as a plague clan dragon can be.

In her hibernal state she turns into a colossus of ice and bone, a centre piece of the gardens, looming over the greenery and its inhabitants with her watchful, glass eye. But don't look for her there, as it is rare, to find her not lending a helpful paw elsewhere.
