Tangleshade

Grimace was brought to his new ice clan as a hatchling, having been given away by his parents and birth clan. After being adopted, his first interest was to the healer Moonflight's den. It was filled with all sorts of herbs, concoctions, and blankets. Lots of blankets. The little Veilspun just couldn't help himself.

When Moonflight found Grimace huddled up in the blankets, the first two things he asked the hatchling were where did he come from and who brought him into the den. Grimace hummed his answers to Moonflight, and Flintfire was called to the den. So, business as usual.

At Flintfire's suggestion, Moonflight decided to bring up Grimace as Flintfire raised Rasa. The first thing the healer did was grant Grimace a new name, which the Veilspun happily agreed to. From that moment on, Grimace was called Tangleshade.

As thanks to Moonflight for giving him a new name, Tangleshade decided to help out the healer with whatever he needed. Medicines, Marketplace runs, ambassador work, calling for Flintfire... anything Moonflight needs an extra paw with, Tangleshade gladly helps. Moonflight noticed the enthusiasm his new assistant showed, and even went as far as to request Softpatch that Tangleshade be named the official Assistant Representative for the Shadow Flight.

Since Softpatch has heartily agreed to this new idea, Tangleshade holds his tiny head high and puffs his chest out with pride at the new title and responsibility he was given. He pledged to fulfill his role to the best of his ability, and to this day he has not broken his promise.
