Inara

Name means: Illumination

Although just a child, Inara showed great maturity by adopting a Scythe Kamaitachi, now named Iggy, from the Emberglow Hearth. He became her greatest companion and link to her fiery heritage. Inara's wisdom and forethought has been foretold by Orion, the resident seer. "She will be a guiding light in the darkness," as said in prophesy. Her glowing eyes and bright smile are only a testament to her destiny. She does not like having her destiny laid out before her and makes plans to run away. These plans are foiled by Skoll. Even though she does not like the imposing wolf, she knows that she cannon appease or win a fight with him. A few months after she found her path to freedom blocked she sees another opportunity. This time, with Iggy helping her, she sneaks off into the night not to be heard of again for weeks until one day, Skoll and Salil run off into some dense underbrush away from their hunting party. They find the tired and wounded pair of Inara and Iggy cornered by a flock of Death Seekers. When Inara sees her former clanmates she nearly cries in relief and collapses signalling the encroaching flock to surge forward. By this time Salil and Skoll have become a highly effective hunting team and they take down the surprised birds with little difficulty. The biggest trouble was carrying the wounded dragon and companion back to Cora to be healed. A few days after the incident, Inara emerged from the healer's cave and immediately turned to Skoll and Salil in gratitude. The wise but cunning wolf replied that she was now under his protection and would not be wounded in his care. Her mind suddenly flashed to the prophesy and her need for freedom but looking into Skoll's golden eyes, she knew she would not leave again and felt no loss. She had found her place within the clan and has not deviated from it since. She is a craftsman, finding great joy in welding metal and sewing leather into the finest armor the clan has ever seen.
