Loras

Though there are always plenty of Coatl flocks in the Ashfall Wastes, most especially in Emberglow Hearth, the clan's first real interaction with a Coatl happened when they acquired Loras as a hatchling from a Light clan. As a hatchling, he was very shy and found Borah to be scary, even though he was much bigger than her, even as a baby. Because he was afraid of her, he thought that the best thing to do was to give her things, so he would find flowers and such to present to her. Later, as he got bigger, he took to bug hunting and metal scavenging to appease her as well.

This generous nature also carried over to his clan mates. He is giving to a point of being easy to take advantage of. Arguments upset him, so he will always try to please others at his own expense, and will go out of his way to resolve quarrels between others. If life in the lair could be about snuggling together all day, he would be the happiest dragon in the world.

His willingness to go along with anything that he is told to do is why his current mate is Isolde. Love would be a strong word to describe his feelings. He likes her, but he is mostly intimidated by his mate's demeanor and beauty to the point that Borah wonders if he would be happiest with another Coatl.

Since he is a peace loving dragon, one would find his choice of a familiar odd, but in truth, the two share similar ideals. They will both fight hard for what they believe in and to protect those that they love. Loras just simply tries to make peace first.
