10728.png 		Haelstrom entered Clan Chervil territory with a bang, bursting forth from the earth with a cart loaded with raw jade ore. Apparently, she woke up alone in a jade-carved cavern deep beneath Murkbarrow Close, or so she claims. When she awoke, she immediately began carving a path to the cave systems of the Close. Her emergence into Clan Chervil, while initially met with skepticism, turned into a long-term stay once the merchants of the territory verified the quality of her gems.

That jade quickly made Haelstrom wealthy, enough so that she is able to afford a home amongst the Wellborn. Her first haul of ore was certainly not the last, either- Haelstrom regularly sets out with teams of miners to retrieve more jade from deep within the earth. Her miners are sworn to secrecy, as Haelstrom is aware that others would gladly take all they could from her secret cache.

This is not Haelstrom's only secret. Her origins, too, have some odd qualities. She claims to have awoken in the jade cave, yet often delivers letters to dragons in Lightning territory. When others ask, she denies or subverts. Luckily, being secretive is the status quo in Murkbarrow Close.
