HISTORY
Zemo could always read people like a book. And he really enjoyed reading books. People were a bit like a puzzle to him, something to observe and figure out. He started with his siblings, and then moved onto his parents, and then did the same with everyone else in his clan. He studied them. And when he had everyone in his clan figured out, he decided it was time to move on, to see the rest of the world. And if he toppled a few sacred cows while he was at it, then all the better. People were funny little creatures, and he enjoyed understanding them. He wished them no harm, he simply wanted to have a say in what the world was doing.

Zemo and his brother wandered the world for some time, and during this time, nothing or no one, in particular, caught Zemo's interest. His brother, Widogast, was currently the one to steer them in the direction they were traveling in, clearly interested in finding books on all the world had to offer. He loved his brother, but he wasn't sure why he was still traveling with him. Zemo had clearly learned all he could about his brother. He first guessed it was because he thought it would be better to travel in pairs, but maybe it was something else entirely.
Eventually, the two of them stumbled upon a large caravan of dragons making their way across Sornieth. Delighted, Widogast forced the two of them to stop and join these traveling dragons. There was a traveling librarian and bookseller by the name of Denpo that Widogast was particularly fond of. Mostly because of the large plethora of books Denpo had collected on his journey. Zemo would spend his days watching Denpo and his brother chat about the books they surrounded themselves in. It didn't take Zemo long to figure out the type of dragon Denpo was. He was similar to Widogast. A lover of books and knowledge. This bored Zemo.
After a few days of thinking, Zemo decided it was best to move on from his brother Widogast. He reasoned that they were both keeping each other from growing and learning in the ways they wanted to. Zemo and Widogast amicably parted ways, both promising to meet up with each other again one day, if their journey allows.
Zemo decided to return home to The Fount of Travelers briefly. Surprised to find only his father still present here and knowing no one else, he decided to continue on. He missed his brother but knew that it was for the best that they had their own adventures. He needed to find other puzzles to solve and people to study.
