Matthias, called Matt, is a the younger brother of Ely and Angelika. His family had been demon slayers for generations and, as Angelika, he learned fighting and shooting from his parents. Ely, the oldest son, was raised by a teacher. Although the three siblings did not see each other much in their childhood they shared a strong bond. Matthias and Ely were especially close, even as they grew older. Matthias role model is his sister, though.
Although Matthias is able to wield a lot of different weapons, his weapon of choice is a whip which can drain the energy of vampires when it touches them. He hopes he is allowed to wield the even stronger whip „demon killer“ of his father one day. If he could have decided his profession, Matthias would have liked to become a teacher. He does not like fighting in particular, but he is ambitious to get stronger either way. He likes to sleep and eat a lot. Character: ❖ - sarcastic - ❖ ❖ - gentle - ❖ ❖ - calm - ❖ ❖ - lazy - ❖ When his brother Ely was bitten by a vampire and turned as he tried to protect his younger siblings, it would have been Angels and Matthias' duty to kill their demon-turned brother. But Matthias, who blamed himself for his brothers turning as Ely tried to protect him in particular, was against killing him. So the siblings hid their brother's change from her parents and family, allowing him to stay with them in the human world. In contrary to his sister, Matthias sees that Ely is doing well as a vampire and he is happy for him. When Angelika needed to banish Ely in the demon world, Matthias held contact to his brother in secret. |
