His legendary companion chose him at hatching. This fierce creature's choice has been awaited for years because although he has lived with the clan for so long, he has never found a worthy dragon. It was a shock to all when the disabled son of a mad dragon was chosen and many shun them both for it. From his early life Salil was made the butt of many jokes and cruelties. He is almost resentful of Skoll's choice but when the great best defended him ferociously from an attacking mirror while hunting Salil accepted him and they have been almost as inseparable as him and his sister, Cora, ever since.
Characteristics: fierce, protective (especially of Cora), admires and reveres Guardians (especially Alaria), mute, Cora is his sort of translator, he is shunned by most of his kind including his father Anders because he cannot communicate, after Anders hurts Cora Salil reacts so violently that he almost kills his father, he becomes much closer to his sister, one night he is stolen way by Anders under the influence of a drug, over the next few torturous weeks he is augmented with scientific and magical aides that increase his strength speed agility and endurance, he becomes what his Anders calls 'the ultimate dragon' but not without fighting, after hearing that Anders has imprisoned Cora, he becomes very reserved and does not fight the surgeries, he plans to become this perfect creature and kill Anders and free Cora,
