Biography

Aven is the self-appointed "lair dad," and loves to help out in the nesting grounds and with new hatchlings. Dependable and gentle, his past comes as a surprise: he was an successful coliseum warrior in his youth, and spent most of his life working as a wandering mercenary in the hotly contested northern borderlands, hired to fight for fellow dragons and beastclans alike.

Many dragons in the lair openly distrust him because of his former beastclan alliances, but he simply upholds their creed equally with the draconic one and avoids staying biased towards one side. Despite misgivings, Aven is indeed a faithful caretaker, and his gentleness with children - and skillful aggression towards enemies - make even the most orthodox draconic supporter respect him.
