Some Headcanons by Lotron:
- Paralian, just like his appearance may suggest, has a reputation for spending all his time in the nearby water. Even on land, it seems he cannot stop thinking about water and swimming either, always wearing a dreamy look in his eyes. His movements, too, are akin to swimming, as he walks with such grace that makes even nobles jealous.
- While he is mute, that has not stopped him from pursuing a career in sorcery, always being drawn in by everything magical. While having no parents, he vividly remembers a sorcerer who once visited him and his caretakers, and the wonderful things the sorcerer could do with his magic. Curing even the sickliest without a sweat, the sorcerer did everything with a charming smile that melted even the coldest of hearts. Paralian decided then that he would become just like the sorcerer when it would be time for him to take a job. And as he got older, he did become just like his idol, at least in profession.
- Paralian, while he desperately wished for it to be untrue, is a coward at heart. Being as timid as a mouse, it was always hard for him to try new things, and he always turned tail at the slightest mention of being in danger. However, he makes up for it with his talent for magic.
- While mute, he has learned to communicate with others by gestures, and his clamates understand him with ease. Only outsiders, who sometimes come to him for help, have a hard time understanding him.
- Paralian enjoys the company of familiars, as they calm down his skittish nature. He almost always has one following him around, jabbering in a language that not even he understands.
