Biography
Expanding his Horizons
If it's time for him to leave your lair, - sending him back to Aeranautics with the crossroads button on the right, - posting him in the traveling dragon thread, or - giving him to the rest hub is much preferred to exalting. He's yours to do with as you please, though. Tell Aeranautics if you love this dragon enough to keep him forever. :D |

Caryo's Story
Terrathorn Station
The adults in Caryo's birthclan had full say on every aspect of his life: his friends, his beliefs, even his mate. After raising a few nests away from home, he slowly realized his upbringing was, to put it mildly, out of the ordinary. His "wife" was still in contact with his birthclan, so Caryo strategically chose to move to Dragonhome in time for a dominance draft. He lost her in the draft while he stayed in a motel, where he ended up working as a housekeeper for two years. After meeting different kinds of people at the motel, Caryo desires to go out into the world. There may not be as much privacy on the road as in his Earth home... but he's willing to adjust if that's what it takes to explore new cultures and see how others live. Armed with a journal, a little camera, and all the courage he can muster, he sets off on his journey. |
Crow Callers
Caryo's first journey led him to the Clan of Crow Callers, on the border of the Scarred Wasteland and Tangled Wood. A clan that he found to be very diverse, encountering dragons who came from all over Sornieth-- dragons of every breed and flight, who typically weren't accepted anywhere else. It was built on dragons who just wanted to be accepted and survive. Caryo wasn't quite sure what he wanted to do, and he even felt a little overwhelmed looking around at the different occupations before him. He tried his best to learn more about all of them, and asked many questions. He came across a fellow Pearlcatcher by the name of Starberry, who was rather friendly towards him. Starberry was both a fashion designer and model, and offered to design an outfit for him. Caryo studied the designs in front of him and smiled, thinking that it would look rather nice on him. |

Shades' Run Inn

Caryo found his next stop deep inside of the Tangled Woods, with a small, nameless clan. The dragons there kept to themselves a lot more than the Crow Callers did, and he often found himself being shut-out of activities. To him, it seemed that most of the dragons there were only focused on survival. He was allowed to stay in the inn there, an allocated space for travelers to rest, and from there, he watched the dragons of the clan, trying to discern how they managed to thrive so. He turned his attention to the forest around him, and began to use the basic hunting skills he'd learned. There was a quiet rustling in the tree tops above him, and as he looked up, he caught sight of a Sakura Owl watching him intently. He hesitated before running back to the inn with his spoils. He was not meant to be a hunter in this lifetime. |
