To fear a storm is to fear that in which you do not fully understand. To fear rain is to fear the life-giving sustenance of water and the growth of the oxygen-bearing trees around you. To fear lightning is to fear chances, to fear probability, and to fear the power of the sky.

Lord Tesla, a Monarch of the lightning and the well-known servant of the Stormcatcher, was only in Everchange for a small period of time before he was nominated as the Lord of lightning. Along with the other Lords and Ladies, Lord Tesla helps keep the fragile Balance that keeps Everchange running and serves as an ambassador to those that bear the eyes of the Stormcatchers children.

On more personal matters, Tesla was born within the Firelands, and similar to Tranquility, the soon-to-be Lord of Water, bears the marks of a fireborn, with eyes as red as embers. However, he was able to embrace the art of the zippy zappy from a very young age. Tesla has embraced his position as a Lord instantly and was able to lead with honor and dignity.
