Epione

She was raised by a guild of treasure hunters near the Hewn City - they taught her crude archaeologic skills and the history behind various artifacts and buildings. As she grew, she found herself happiest when able to help others instead of burying herself in the ruins. She learned to make health potions, treat wounds, and set broken bones in order to be productive. Occasionally someone would bring back antique scrolls with medicinal knowledge and they'd find her asleep at her desk, slumped over the parchment where she'd be up taking notes all night. She wants to learn more.

Epione decided to accompany a few adventurers on a trip near the Sundial Ruins when the group was attacked by a small band of centaurs. Outnumbered, the group scattered and she was rescued by one of the scouts of the Splendid Scrolls Clan. Having injured a leg and altogether been roughed up a bit, she is offered a place to rest.

She notes there's no real healer in this clan - just the stray dragon here and there that knows a small bit about keeping wounds clean. Upon healing, she asks to stay and take over the role as healer. Her old clan has several and will be fine without her and it isn't as if she has family awaiting her.

Epione meets Cyprus officially when the clan leader she'd spoken to initially drags him into her office with a hurt tendon. He's pouting the whole time she tells him to stay idle and get rest. Eventually she takes it upon herself to pop into his office to make sure he's listening and not further damaging his wing.

She's a bit eccentric and often has found herself with ink smudged on her face from reading with a quill in hand for notetaking. Her manners aren't always the best, having grown up around tomb raiders essentially, though she makes up for it with a bubbly personality and "can-do" attitude. When working she's able to be the epitome of calm and precise.
