Hecate is a very particular dragoness. Her acid tongue and haughty demeanor have made her more enemies than friends, however, she is a stalwart and powerful ally once befriended. She is a capable destruction mage, and defends the clan with a great arsenal of powerful hexes and spells, electric blue flame and lightning arcing from her claw-tips and maw. Hecate is unashamedly her own biggest fan and self promotes shamelessly, though she has a soft spot for dragonlings. She pretends to have a great dislike for them, but has a secret smile for each of them as well as a candy or two on occasion.

Newt is her mate, as well as her charge. Devoted to one another through a bond no one quite understands, the two are not usually seen far from one another. Hecate has a pouch of smelling salts particularly for her mate, secreted away 'neath a veiled wing. Newt, for his part, can often be seen scouring the territory for something gaudy shiny to bestow upon his love. [/color]
