Amberclaws

Amberclaws used to be a small Skydancer hatchling. Her wings were completely unable to move and weren't able to be used as a method of flight or gliding. And the moment she reached the age where she was supposed to learn how to fly, she failed because of that defect. But she was still able to live life normally.
Years passed and nothing went wrong, except when her siblings were flying around without her. Laughing, playing, and exploring without her. She felt locked out. Every night she looks at the stars and prays: "Oh great Arcanist, please help me with my wings. I beg of you, bless me with your wisdom and cure me from my curse.".
After months of praying, she was invited to a new clan. It wasn't what she asked and it wasn't his blessing. She wanted to go to the clan so much that she attempted to fly, but forgot about her defect causing her to stumble onto the ground. Lightly injured and extremely embarrassed she decided to go on foot. It was a tiring journey to the Ice Flight. But the moment she reached the clan, she was warmly welcomed by everyone. She felt at home.
But after a while, she decided to build a type of wing support. After a bunch of trial and error, she was able to build a perfect wing support for herself and fly for the first time.
